city and state in url?

I am looking to make a website that I want my city, state and trade in the url.

Is it best to do this? desmoinesiowacarpenters.com
or this? des-moines-iowa-carpenters.com

I have had many mention having the city and state in the url but I'm not sure of the best choice. Or should I look at other considerations?

I would like your opinions.

Thanks for the help.

I would just use the city. You don't really need the state in there too. But yeah, having the city will help with your search engine rankings.

I'd get both the normal URL and the one with hyphens. The one with hyphens looks better in print (email, etc.), for one thing.
