Marketing plan - care to comment?
Hello:
I am planning to do IM as following, and would like your comments please:
I am going to use a Wordpress self-hosting CMS; let's call this the main website.
I already have about 6 other websites running (let's call these subsidiary websites), each subsidiary site is selling a different but related common theme product; and they can each stand alone and be promoted independently.
My plan is to promote the main website aggressively;the subsidiary sites are accessible through links in the main website. In other words, the main site is the gateway to the subsidiary sites. No financial transaction will be done on the main website, but only on subsidiary sites.
The main website will also have a blog post feature where I will periodically post original articles; reader comments are encouraged.
On top of this, I will submit articles regularly to article directories in the following manner: original articles will be submitted to ezinearticles; I will also spin/rotate the articles and automatically submit them to lower PR article sites (there will be at least 40 of these); I will use a software for this. Even though they are rotated, each one will be unique.
All articles will carry a link back to my main site
The rationale behind my proposal is this:
1) It is better to promote one main site well rather than so many sites individually.
2) Regular posts/articles to the main site, and reader feedback is good for contents. I think Google likes this and it's a SEO plus.
3) The article sites I submit to will get me the backlinks to my main site, another SEO plus
4) The numerous articles (rotated and originals) may give me some extra traffic.
5. Use SYNND to submit to social networking sites.
