So many IM Programs

I look around the internet and on forums and there are SOOOOOO many different IM programs out there. How do you guys differentiate between quality and garbage. A lot of the squeeze pages look the same so this makes it even more hard.

    Yup there is alot of junk out there and programs that are scams and so forth. Find yourself someone to follow that is successful already and learn from them. Then the most important thing, Take what you learn and take action on it.

    Here's what I do:

    1) I engage my brain. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is too good to be true.

    2) Do they provide a phone number to call? Or do they hide behind a support form only.

    3) I use that support form to ask a leading question. Was it answered quickly and helpfully.

    If it fails any of those tests, I'm out of there.

    Weeds a lot out :-)

    Go for the free stuff. You can get some very valuable information.

    It's a good idea to know a bit about whatever facet you'll pursue. Think of it as a two-step process. When you narrow that down a little, you'll have less sides of the IM area to focus on.

    Then take the advice above and check out some of those squeeze pages and never be afraid to unsubscribe if it's "not your thing."

    The link above from Ross is a great place to go and an awesome tip. But just spending some time here will really give a feel for names and places to check out that you can trust. (And there are a lot of choices )

    Thirty day challenge is great but they sell too many products on that course, in my opinion.
    For example, I don't see the point in using (and becoming dependent on) WPdirect for a fee when you can just use WordPress for free.

    Same goes for some of the other products promoted in the 30dc...

    I've looked at lots of Internet marketing products and I have to say: The majority of them are good or at least okayish. I have not seen many programs or products that are downright scams.
    What I'm trying to say is: You can make money if you apply what you learn in these courses. Even if you don't pick the perfect one.

      Thanks Guys. Ya the main problem is everyone using the same squeeze page format, there's always a bunch of fluff. It suprising when I actually see a real product at the end of the road. Thanks though.
