Online Scammers Taint Us Honest Internet Marketers

Every action will cause reactions. Any person with a functioning mind can see that. The term for not caring about how one's actions may harm other people is "criminal."

Many Criminals Do Get Away With It. A Few Don't

A significant number of scammers may well have managed to create a protective bubble around themselves. However, once in a while their bubble will be punctured by Count of Monte of Cristo types who, after being seriously wronged, will exact well-planned revenge.

Sociopaths

Personally, I hate to see people harmed. I've seen it up close too many times for it to look like some computer game or something. However, there are individuals out there who'll happily rip off anyone they can deceive without a care of the harm they cause. The pop psychology expression for such a person is "sociopath," someone without any empathy for others.

Organized Crime

Not all gangsters run drug cartels out of Mexico. Some organized crime is run out of such places as Utah. Case in point, apparently, is StoresOnline. I've attended their seminars, but being instinctively anti-mob (sometimes mistakenly referred to as "antisocial"), I didn't fall for their hype. I did enjoy their presentation, but in the same way you might appreciate good acting, knowing that you are witnessing a master con-artist in action:

Online Con-Artists Damage the Reputation of Honest Internet Marketers

I think it is a disservice to be protective of scam-artists just because they may be sort of famous or whatever and also happen to do internet marketing. Don't fall into the mob mentality. In the long run, that will damage your business. It is does much more good to have a backbone and not be cowed into protecting criminal elements even if they are big names.
