I am looking for some good newsletters to purchase solo ads in for the Internet Marketing niche. Do you know of any that really converts well?

Thanks,
William

This would depend a lot on your niche.

There are also newsletter directories which have newsletters in different categories. If you Google for the directories, you will find a bunch that are likely to have the category (or niche) which interests you.

Also keep in mind that a direct competitor may not be as willing to run your ad. However, the editor of a newsletter in a related field may be more interested.

Go check all the main IM's blogs and sites and get there news letter and see if they offer ad's?

I'd be surprised if people will tell you lots of good news letters apart from their own maybe but then again, people might.

And if they don't offer ads, but you like the newsletter, see if they'll take your money in exchange for an ad. I'll bet you find some who will.

There are a lot of ezine newsletters that run ads, a lot of them are targeted to the IM market.

          Regards,

          David.

            Try ezinelocater.com

You will find list of ezines under different categories. Search and pick. The listing says if the ezine offers solo ads or not.

I'm in ezine advertising business since many years, but I didn't understand yet what some people understand by "a newsletter that converts well"

If I didn't understand yet, maybe I lost my time during all these years ...

Let's see ... I publish an SEO newsletter for people who hate PPC. There is nothing wrong to like or dislike SEO, nothing wrong to like or dislike PPC, nothing wrong in any way ... Fine, let's move on ...

John Doe comes to my newsletter's page and orders a solo ad promoting the latest PPC course. As anyone anticipated (except John Doe), John's ad didn't get a good result. Here is my question: what is the conclusion? The newsletter doesn't convert well?

Then John Doe "The 2nd" comes and orders a solo ad promoting an SEO product that almost anyone already has. As anyone anticipated (except John Doe "The 2nd"), the ad didn't get a good result. Here is again my question: what is the conclusion? The newsletter doesn't convert well?

    Shall I continue?

John Doe "The 3rd" comes and orders a solo ad promoting a brand new SEO product but his ad is ... 0000000 As anyone anticipated (except John Doe "The 3rd"), the ad didn't get a good result. Here is again & again my question: what is the conclusion? The newsletter doesn't convert well?

Hmm Let me tell you something: some people make a lot of money advertising in a specific newsletter and other people get a big fat zero advertising in the SAME newsletter. Why? A big proportion of the outcome does NOT depend on the newsletter.

Well, you can keep looking for "newsletters that convert well", but ... you'd better improve what is under your control (including a real selection of the newsletters you plan to advertise in).
