Whats the url of your forum?

I would guess its a url rewrite issue. Check the .htaccess file. Do some tests removing the contents, see if it helps.

        Hi ,

I just viewed your forum no issues,
the http:// can occur if you have typed the url like http;//

if a tag is imporoperly closed it could also mess it up but usually it would take the root domain http://yoursite/foldername/http://yoursite/foldername
that is very easy to correct but i don't see any issue so i can't tell you what needs to be fixed

I use this tag; xxx. But instead of getting a hyperlined xxx with http://www.xyz.com as the web address, what i get is http://http://www.xyz.com thereby making the link a broken one

            Hi,

Ok so your talking about when you link to a file from your root?
            ie yourdomain.com/file

what is a folder name you have that i can test with i will see if i can figure it out for you seems like it could be a setting in your admin panel but if i can see exactly what it is doing i should be able to give you the solution
