Do You Sometimes Want Hoard Information?

My instinctual preference is to freely exchange information. But, sometimes I get aggressive responses from people, who after getting info from me, insist that I should be charging money for it (though not actually offering money to me, lol). Once in a while they influence my thoughts, and I think how I've been researching and doing so much trial and error, why should I share information?! But, that cloud passes and I realize I've gotten most of my information from people who freely shared it with me.

There is a valid argument that people are less likely to value something that is free, so you may be doing them a disservice just giving the info since they will be less likely recognize its worth and benefit from it. My experience is that peoples weakness is usually more in not actually applying information than not having it.

I like your attitude, Thunderbird - Something like the Warrior Forum is only made possible because enough people think the way you do.

James: I have seen most of your free videos and they are among the clearest, most articulate and helpful I have seen anywhere.

By sharing value, we help to create lasting loyal relationships, build our reputations, and instil high expectations with regard to our paid products. A free sample can be worth a thousand salespages, but only IF it's something truly valuable and original.

Many new marketers make the mistake of following superficial advice about getting some cheap plr & changing it around a bit to use as an opt-in giveaway or whatever, saving the "good stuff" for their paid product. That's like giving away corn flakes to sell caviar.

(Actually a crap example - I LIKE corn flakes and hate caviar )
