Removing "Just Another Wordpress Blog..." from Google indexing?

A curious question:

My new site is indexed AND on page 1 of Google for certain keywords. Cool!
However, in at least one instance, the Google search return is showing up as "Just another Wordpress Blog..." the original default title of my first post before I started adding stuff, instead of the title of any of the many posts, or the home page title.

Now I'm assuming that's because Google indexed it once when I first installed Wordpress, prior to making any entries, and that they simply haven't gotten around to crawling/indexing it again, now that there's lots of new posts and page titles. I'm also assuming they eventually will recrawl it, and change it in their return results.

But is there any way to force that to happen quicker, or immediately? It's kinda tacky having your nice blog show up on Google pg 1, but the searcher sees "Just another Wordpress Blog..." instead of a relevant title. It would certainly make me not want to click on it. So rather than wait for a couple weeks, a month, who knows, what can I do do change this?

No. I think you cannot force it. Eventually Google will re-index it
with your preferred message. Update the site often and it should
    happen faster.

You can't force it. Do what Loren says and just update your site often and Google will surely re-index that post.

Well I hope so, cause I've added over 45 high-quality posts to that site, each with it's own title, over the last month. And it's been over a month since it was called "Just Another Wordpress Blog...", so it has been a while...

I think that I might want to do some minor editing of that home page post, and then ping it. Hopefully that will get the robots to crawl the page again and correct the problem. I don't know for sure that this will work, but that is what I would try.

Well hopefully you have set up A Google Webmaster account and claimed your website and submitted your site map so now you can go in there and do a resubmit which will update it faster than the wait and see method.

Thanks Quentin & Kevin. I do have a Google Webmaster acct., but I did not claim this website or submit a sitemap because:
      1. I did this site in Wordpress, with the All-In-One SEO and Google XML SiteMap plugins installed. I was under the impression that those two plug-ins, especially the XML SiteMap, took care of claiming & submitting a new sitemap each time you updated a post.
      2. I read somewhere that it's better NOT to register your website through a Google Webmaster acct., better to let them find you themselves. I can't remember where I read it (some IM course like Google sniper or WPMage) or why to avoid it (something about giving Google too much control over your site, I think) but it stuck in my head and so I avoided logging this new site into Webmaster Tools. If that's a wrong approach or an unnecessary concern, please let me know, thanks.
