Is this a goldmine - or should I sell?

Weird quick situation - I bought domain "Androidmobileblog dot com" over a year ago in anticipation of an upswing in android popularity. I installed wp on it so the domain would age.

Well, I checked today and I'm ranking #1 for the search "android mobile blog".. with absolutely no seo or work done to the site. I don't even have analytics installed (going to now )

My question - What should I do? Should I sit on domain, install an affiliate site, or sell? Thought this would be a great place to seek advice.

(I know there might be trademark issues here, too)

Thanks a ton

When you go to the google adwords tool and type that in, are there people paying for that search?

I can guess the answer - but I think you need to look yourself.

    Go to https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

And tell me - is the term searched? If not, no one really cares you are #1.

unless it's a super competitive niche you usually will rank in the top 10 for your domain name,if it is a domain with little to know searches such as yours you definitely will rank in the top 10. Keep it and try to develop it.

You could certainly turn it into a goldmine by simply creating a nice "auto-blog" around the niche with some nice articles, reviews, and links to amazon or ebay and monetize incoming articles and RSS feeds with adsense. Then PROMOTE the site and it should rank well if you do it right. From there the money will start to flow and you can either keep it or sell it. The domain itself - not so much but you never know.

I'd say keep it and make a post once a week or so. By the time people start talking about it, you'll be way ahead of the game and you'll be kicking butt!

Awesome advice. Yeah, according to some KW research there's probably less that 100 searches a day, but that might increase.

Good thoughts. Keep 'em coming if you know of anything else.
