List Building... Which way Is Best?
So I'm going to be launching a product soon that I've been pouring my heart and soul into for several months now, a "Learn to Make Your First (or next) $1,000 Online" type WSO. As a purchase is made, I want to send each buyer an aweber invite to my list. I know that I will offer free updates and video lessons to accompany the guide for subscribing, but I can't decide whether or not I should add the following part as well:
I am going to offer to my list discounts on future products of mine, but I don't know if I should mention this in my confirmation e-mail or not.
Do you think mentioning this will...
A) Entice more people to join the list
or
B) Turn people off to subscribing because "discounts" means they'll probably be sold to at some point.
Launch isn't far off and I haven't sorted this detail out yet, so I appreciate your input!
