Small newbie question about email marketing
First thread here so I might as well make it a huge spectacular, mystifying... yea, no, not really. I just have one small question regarding the content of some email marketing campaigns that I'm subscribed to. I see it a lot and frequent enough to cause me to ask it here.
In the content of an email, whenever I see the word free, it is usually changed in some way like f.ree or fr.ee or any other variation.
My first natural assumption is so that the spam detectors in the email client do not get triggered and mark it as spam and throw it in the spam folder. I have a hunch that I am right, but I digress.
I would still like to see the consensus of the many fine folk here at the warrior forum.
Thanks!
Chris
Yes, I know my first question is a doozy. I'll try to ask the easier ones in the future.....
