Hello everyone,

Has anyone had any success with redirecting domains to affiliate pages with the use of article marketing?

Yes, I've done this with a couple different niches. I'm sure it's far from optimal (pre-selling your traffic would be preferred), and it makes you rely much more heavily on the quality of the product's sales page. I do like it because I can get started on something quicker, plus I can decide to put up a real landing page any time I want. It almost immediately gains the benefits of the backlinks, plus the domain will already have some age at that point.

The quick way is to do a redirect with a domain name, but personally I find it not the most successful way.

I use domain names, however I always send them to a page that I have created. I find pre-selling is the best way to go, and I also find not every affiliate page is the best converting page on the planet, some are down right useless. Great product useless page a theme repeated more and more.

I also find if I am taking the time to write articles about a certain niche product or service, by sending them to a page I have created I am no longer bound by the rules of the article directories.

I can now with total freedom talk about the product or service with full disclosure and provide a personal account of said product or service.

I've tested just about every way to convert article traffic that you can imagine, and pre-selling with a review type page is the only one I ever found that worked with anything close to success. Redirection directly to a vendor's page only rarely works. You have to really scour offers to find anything that works at even a low conversion rate that way.

What I do now (almost exclusively) is send article traffic to squeeze pages and give away something free related to that article's topic. I make my money on the backend after a few non-commercial emails to get the list members in my good graces, if you will. This is easily the most effective use of article traffic I've ever come across. Throw in an OTO during the sign-up process too, but be very careful! Make sure the OTO is an extremely good deal or you'll just make your new list members wary right out of the gate.

I agree with this but before I start building squeeze pages and backend offers I want to test the conversions before wasting my time.

I would directly send my traffic to CPA offers and work out the conversions. If they were working out I would scale up and buy some PPC Traffic or open up a full on scaled up Ezine Article Blast.

I have had a lot of success with this, but EZA will not allow it. I like to start with a redirect and if the product converts well, then I will build a site.

Yeah but I agree with Zuess, pre-selling beats it by a long shot.

If you are looking at free only I used to make review landing pages on squidoo or weebley, it took about 20 minutes to make a good one.
