Business Systems VS Products

Most people new to Internet marketing fail to succeed because they fail to have a business system, some equate having a product to a business. Do you agree or Disagree?

  • I agree. There's no substitute for a solid business plan/system to actually monetize any effort you make online.

As for this idea being "corporate world thinking" -- NONSENSE! Having a "product" is NOT the same as having a business. There are tons of members here who've been slogging away at trying to sell a solution in search of a problem. They got into that mess because they didn't do the necessary preparation and market research before they created their product.

Plan your work, work your plan. Fail to plan, plan to fail!

Some poeple think the "internet' is a business. It is really only a marketing channel.

I think you need to have a system to become effective. Even if your system is a small checklist or a routine.

Work out the result you want and reverse engineer the steps into small chunks.

Actually, telling people they HAVE to have a "system" is the real nonsense here. It's certainly not the main reason people fail.

Business plans are primarily for getting outside financing.
