That is the beauty of outsourcing. This is why I recommend that newbies find a way to make a few hundred bucks first and re invest it before getting to deep into internet marketing. Makes life easier and allows you to grow much faster.

It's not a solve all solution, I've had some bad experiences there too, but when you find a good quality worker like that you keep him!

For coders I still go to RAC, nothing beats the solid arbitration/escrow service they have in place.

Definitely a place for both Rent A Coder (RAC) and Odesk in my business. Generally, I use Rent A Coder for the initial project (for example, have websites done for clients), and Odesk for ongoing maintenance tasks.

I haven't done much article submissions. I was thinking of doing some though. What are these sites you're talking about?

Great job! Did you have to be very specific in your instructions, or did you find someone that was adept at all of that? It is hard to find people that do not require very specific instructions. If you did, what a find.

Odesk is best for the simple tasks such as that. it works great and you can get really cheap labor.

However, for more complicate tasks I've always been instructed to use other sites. However, with the amount of workers on odesk, although it may take some searching, you could likely find someone to fit all your needs.

Now that rentacoder is allowing you to hire people by the hour, and with arbitrtion, I think RAC is still the solid choice.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

I use oDesk as well, but as a provider. They provide a mutually beneficial experience for both buyers and providers. But personally, I refuse to take on the hourly projects because buyers are practically allowed to monitor your every move; I'm a fixed-fee project type of gal.

Yes, they do charge a service fee. But the fee is eaten up by the provider, not the buyer.
