Who would like a spy report of profitable PPC campaigns?

Hi everyone. I'm considering launching a new service where I will conduct some in depth niche research from a PPC perspective. I will be using some software that conducts a large amount of research, and then provide the results for people who are members of my service.

Here's how the service will work:

I will produce reports that show PPC campaigns that are already successful. The reports will show the following information:

  • Campaign category (targeted niche)
  • The most successful keywords used on Adwords
  • The most successful ads displayed for each keyword
  • Search volume for each keyword (according to Google)
  • Average Cost Per Click for each keyword (again according to Google)
  • Profitability index for those keywords and ads

Now how is this service different from others?

Well we've all heard the saying, "If you want to be successful just copy someone who is already a success." Basically I will show you profitable campaigns of other PPC marketers so you can clone them.

Overview of the service:

This service will be focused primarily on the profitability index for choosing your keywords and ads.

I will pick probably around 5 different niches each month and provide full reports on each niche. (I'll have an exact number when I launch the service.)

The reports will show the niche I have selected, and a list of keywords. The size of the keyword list will depend on the profitability index. Remember, this list is based on what is already profitable for other PPC marketers.

So how is the profitability index determined? A number of factors are taken into account, such as traffic volume, cost-per-click, ad position, how often the ad is shown, the keyword configuration, etc. The profitability index will provide an overall idea of how successful an ad is for the advertiser. The higher the number, the more likely the ad is successful.

Let's take a look at the "learn to play guitar" niche as an example.

A check of Clickbank finds Jamorama to be the top selling Clickbank product in this niche, according to highest gravity.

Using the software I can do a search for anyone promoting the Jamorama product, and find out who is successful and exactly what is working for them.

So for example here is the #1 most profitable ad on Google for the Jamorama product.

Here is a table of information that you would get with the report. You would get more than this, I kept the list to 4 for this example. This affiliate had a list of 243 keywords promoting this product.

So here's what we learn from this section of the report.

Ad - The exact ad being used to promote this product

Keyword - The exact keywords used by this affiliate for this ad.

Avg. search volume - What Google says the search volume is each month for this term.

Avg cost per click - What the average cost per click is for this term for the number 1 spot in Google Adwords.

# days ad was seen - You'll notice there are two numbers here. The second number is the number of days the ad has actually been active. The first number is the number of days the ad has been shown since the first time was shown.

In the report, I show the actual date the ad was first shown for each keyword, and the last time the ad was shown for that keyword. I took them off this example to conserve space. This lets you know if the ad is still active, or if it's been turned off.

Avg. position - The position this ad is normally shown in.

Profitability index - How likely it is this ad is profitable for the given keyword. The higher the number, the more likely it is to be profitable.

Now from my perspective, the most important things to look at are the profitability index and the number of days the ad has been seen.

If the ad has a profitability score over 2,000 it is almost guaranteed to be a winner. Next look at the days shown. An ad running more than a week or two with a high profitability score is excellent.

This means the ad is working and making money for the owner of the ad. No one is going to throw away good money on a worthless campaign that does not perform. If the ad has not provided a good return for the ad spend in a couple of weeks, they get shut down. So anything running a month or more, with a high profitability score is high quality.

Some PPC marketers run more than 1 ad per keyword. I will show every ad that is being run for that keyword by the top listed affiliate. Doing this allows you to see which ad is most effective, and what the common factors of those ads are. That way you can figure out the best combination for your own ads.

I will also show any other campaigns that have profitability score of at least 1,000, up to a total of 5 campaigns, breaking each one down like the example above.

I will also provide you a link to the landing page that the traffic is being sent to for that ad group. This will allow you to see exactly what the affiliate is doing. Are they direct linking to the affiliate offer page, or sending traffic to their own landing page? You'll learn here.

If you're not putting together why that is powerful, let me explain. You will get to see exactly what kind of page they are sending their traffic to. That way you can create a landing page similar to theirs to send your traffic to and copy their success.

In the end what this does is allows you to copy others who have already spent their money to figure out what works. So you spend your money only on what is going to produce results, instead of spending your money to test. This will result in a higher rate of profit for you.

So no matter what kind of money is being spent for an ad, you are virtually guaranteed success from the start, without having to do any of the testing. The testing has been done by someone else, and you see exactly what works.

If you think you would be interested in a service like this give me a reply and let me know. If I decide to launch the service, I will offer a WSO for a limited number of warriors.

With many products offering similar services, why does yours stand out? I think it's a great idea but missing a USP.

I guess for people that don't know how to setup Adspy or similar services, this would be good.

Have you seen this new Brad Callen tool?
