does anybody know of a tool out there that can identify font types?
size would be cool but not that important

    I've got one on my iphone called 'What the font'. You take a pic of the word and it identifies the font.

    Yep, I use Word too. Another way is if you have the web developer toolbar for FF, you can click on css, then on edit css, and it will display all the css styles called for on the page you are viewing. Usually there will be at least 2 fonts and it depends on which ones your browser can display.

    If you want you can then edit that part of the css and it will show you the page with any font you want to try out. Really useful. You can also easily muck around with colors using this little edit css option too.

    If it is your own web page from a file on your computer it will not change the original file. If you do find something you really like you can just copy that part of the css and paste it into the original file. Lets you do a lot of other things too, but those are probably 2 of the easiest. (and maybe even fun)
