My Article Marketing Plan - Advice me

15 replies
Hey Warriors,

I have planned to write 10 articles per week on my niche and spin them to EZA,goArticles and articlebase.

I hope I can get decent hits from those article directories. What do you guys say? Will this work out, I am sure there are lots of experienced article marketers are here in warrior forum. I hope to get your advice on this.

Thanks

    You will get good traffic if you do the proper keyword research - target keywords that get a decent search volume and have low competition.

      I'll advice you.

      Sure it will as Sara says...

      ...if.

      If you write the articles well.
      If you diligently do your keyword research (harder than writing the articles imo)
      If you don't 'spam spin' them
      If you submit them correctly
      If your resource box is very well written
      If your subject has traffic.
      If you are persistent and consistent!

      Plus a few more ifs, but you get my drift?

      Good luck!

          First off...do NOT submit spun articles to EZA. They will ban you in a
          heartbeat.

          Your question cannot be answered as far as how effective this strategy
          will be because of all the variables involved.

          What niche is it?
          What keywords are you targeting?
          How good are the articles?
          How good are your resource boxes?
          What products are you selling?
          How good are your landing pages?

          That's just off the top of my head.

          Your plan can do as well as thousands of views a month to as poorly as
          nothing depending on all those factors.

          Only way to know for sure is to do it and find out.

          However, having said that, submit to as many directories as you can, find
          out which ones perform, and then submit to them exclusively from that
          point on.

          That's one way of going about it.

          There are many other plans and combinations of plans you could use
          including using social networking to get people to your articles.

          There is no one size fits all for this business.

    Sounds to be a great plan.

    What are you going to do? Promoting affiliate products? If yes, I advise you build your list and sell the affiliate product on the thank you page and via your autoresponder series.

    As for spinning, just write useful content for readers and make sure to get your keyword right (just use Google External tool). for these article directories.

    All the best,

    Your plan seems to be lacking a great deal .. When setting up a plan you should be setting that plan based upon what you are going to do each day and what your goals are.

    You are just taking those 3 article directories because others say they are the top article directories. This is not 100% true because a top article directory depends upon many different factors and just having traffic is not enough.

    There are many many factors involved here and it is fine that someone says "sure you can make it if you do this or that....." Fact is nobody can really tell you that because a great deal of this depends upon you and your plan.

    First and foremost you should select many different article directories and write up an article and lead that article resource to a test blog. Now go post that article on these article directories (you should have a list of 50 or more). You do not have to spin the articles, this is after all testing. Now once posted then build backlinks to your site and some to the articles.

    Keep track of everything you do and what you do for what article/directory. You want to track results here and see what is working best for YOU.. Just because joe blow says EZA is the bomb does not mean it is, you must do what works for YOU!

    Once you start getting hits and so forth then track to see where they are coming from.. This is how you measure the effectiveness of these article directories. This is only a small part though because you should also be looking at if the article directory has ads or no ads, if the article directory advertises your article for you or not, plus other factors.

    Once you are happy with about the top 20 performing article directories then you want to setup your plan and goals.

    You plan should be based upon the days and hours you can work online. Let's assume it is 12 hours 5 days a week. Then you would setup a plan as follows

    Monday
    * Write 2 articles
    * Submit these articles to XX place
    * Bookmark these 2 articles
    * Submit Rss Feeds for the sites I posted the articles on
    * Ping the articles

    Tuesday
    * Write 2 articles
    * Create web 2.0 profiles
    * Post articles
    * Bookmark articles

    And etc ... You see you lay out a plan and stick with it each and everyday meeting your goals that you have set. This is a better way for you to stay focus vs saying I am going to write 10 articles a week and submit them. Having goals gives you something to work for and reaching those goals gives you a sense of accomplishment.

    Lastly I would highly suggest you read this thread and study it before doing anything

    Yeah - what James said.

    There's a lot more to article marketing than one might first believe. In then end it is all about testing so that you can put your energies into the things that are working.

    You might need more than 10 articles a week though.... Just MHO

    I think TheRichJerksNet advice is very good.

    I keep a list of both the directories that send traffic and those that show up as backlinks within a reasonable time. The traffic list is short.

    Then submit to both lists with automatic software.

      I'm surprised the second report/site in your signature would not give you the answers. Looks like there would have to be something in there about article marketing. Hmmmm.

    Dashboy,

    If you like swallowing broken glass, I think you can tolerate your plan because it sounds painful to me!

    BUT, it's still all about the keywords. Wrong keywords = no money + wasted time.

    Don't write until you have your keywords set.

    Also, at EZA you need to send the bio box to a good, informative site. So I make a good blog post with the producting I'm selling or an affiliate link, at the bottom. They won't let you link directly to an offer.

    Get the EZA article published, then spin THAT article and get it submitted to multiple locations. Jetspinner works good.

    I've used Traffic-Bug.com for bookmarking. It helped my traffic 30%. It's cheap, too.

    Good luck,

    Jeff

    Me personally would test the niche with Ezine Articles. As soon as I had some conversions worth it I would expand and set up my own site Hosted on wordpress with a keyword rich Domain. (Maybe a old domain I'd purchased with existing PR & Links). Bear in mind you have already tested the niche/conversion then you can scale up.

    Send the resource box traffic to your site/blog. Get them in your sales funnel, etc. The links to your site will also work wonders. The main thing is you get them into your sales funnel and you can recylce the traffic as you please.

    Hope this helps and I'm not rambling too much after a Xmas Sherry....
