What to do with loser domain names

I am trying to streamline my domain names and ftp accounts. I have gotten rid of all my domain names that have no websites, now I'm down to the websites that get little traffic that I no longer want to pursue.

Is there a protocol when you are ready to dump a website? I have used article marketing to promote these sites. I know eventually EZA will unlink my articles.

Is there something you think about before killing a website in case it could be resurrected? The reason these websites are not successful is the keyword selection/domain name and I do not feel like pursuing these markets any longer. I want to recycle my ftp accounts to new domains I am pursuing.

You can turn loser domains into winners in some cases by auctioning the domains at godaddy or sedo. Many cases you can atleast recoupe your money you spent on domains.

In some cases I outsource some content and flip them even without income and recoup a few bucks for the costs to date...and sometimes a bit more too

Use them as redirect sites. Sometimes I need a site I can send people too really quick and redirect them somewhere else. I use shoddy domains for that, or just write ridiculous things on them and hope somebody laughs from it so the site at least serves a purpose. =)
