Hi guys,

If you are running a PLR membership site offering PLR ebook packages,
how much are you paying for one complete PLR ebook package to be
created?

ebook writing and formating (10000+ words)
ecover and minisite graphics creation
sales letter writing

Everything 100% original and created from scratch.

How much?

Almin

    Hey Almic,

    Merry Christmas,

If I need something done I outsource it at freelancer.com
I would do the same for what your asking, job could be done very cheaply with some great stuff. I have not done this yet though I only got my programmer so far but I would be confident in recommending them

Otherwise if a member is skilled in that area perhaps hiring inside is good too.

Well, I would say that $1000 may be a fair price, but I wouldn't know as I generally do most of the work myself. I try to churn out a full product a week.

Here is basically what I do:

    1) Find a hot topic, an obscure topic, anything you feel may be in demand.
    2) Search forums, ezine and other directories, etc. compiling information along the way.
    3) After a week or two, you should have between 10-20 discussion areas on the niche you are exploring.
    4) I then begin writing the ebook.
    5) Once I have the ebook done, I separate the chapters into separate articles and have them rewritten -- sometimes two or three times, if need be. Most of the time, only once.
    6) I then look over each re-written article and see where they can be condensed into shorter versions, turning them into a separate 5-7 autoresponder eCourse.
    7) Outsource or record yourself reading your eBook for an audio version. Audacity, a free recording software, is great for this.
    8) Create a basic sales page and thank you page(with graphics)

Now, these are all recommended steps.

Some packages I make include an audio version, some don't. Some include autoresponder msgs, some don't.

For outsourcing the rewrites, I use TextBroker.Com, and use their 3 or 4 star writers. This can only cost you $2.50 per article(300-500 words), and be sure you list that your job is a Rewrite. They jump on rewrites like crazy.

Their interface is laid out like a forum, so the title of your listing is important. If you title your listing, "Rewrite -- How To Cure Tinitus," you're almost guaranteed to get it in a day or two.

Textbroker is one of my biggest secrets -- no bidding process -- you post your assignment and what you are willing to pay, and it is first come first served.

You have the right to reject an article 2 times; if you reject twice, you don't pay for it.

Hope this helps -- I'd write more -- but I'm heading to a Xmas party.

Thank you for your replies guys, but I doubt that those who are
running PLR ebooks sites are paying $1000+ per basic ebook package.

If they offer only 2 packages per month that would be $2000+
in expences every month. If they are selling the membership for
$67 per month (which is quite expensive) they need to have
minimum of 30-35 members at the very start just to break even.
      Doesn't that sound very risky?

        Hi,

I would say the answers you have been given are not that far away. Of course you can get much cheaper, but the quality wont always be good enough... in my opionion.

Minimum prices I'd be willing to pay

        Ebook writing (10,000) $500
        Graphics creation $150
        Sales Letter written $197

        Merry Christmas

PLR membership site is a perfect opportunity for a JV deal. Especially if you don't have the writing chops...

I've never done a membership site - is 30-35 a lot? And why should you break even the first month? Especially when you are banking solely on their product, doesn't it sound fair to pay them a decent wage?

          I'm very confused.

    Hey Almin,

I'm going to starting a PLR Membership site in January and am qualified to answer this..

We spend around $1500 to create 1 ebook package.

This includes premium trimmings such as.. banners, affiliate material, graphics and more.

    It's all about the numbers...

If you have a list already and some good JV's/Affiliates...you obviously have an advantage and you'll be in profit on day 1.

-- getting 35 members is not very difficult at all.. even if you have no list to start off with.
