1ShoppingCart.com Design Advice Needed

Hi everyone,

Looking for some help from some pro 1shoppingcart.com users. I hope I can get the answers I need.

I'm currently on the $3.95 trial version of 1ShoppingCart because I want to make sure it does everything I need it to do. It seems great up till now... EXCEPT... that I have several different websites with several different products under several different names.

Unfortunately it appears that their shopping cart is an externally hosted page.. so the shopping cart will have to look the same for all of my websites. Is this correct?

Is there anyway to self-host the shopping cart.. i.e. set up a product and recurring billing system and then take some code and insert it into my website for the shopping cart rather than an order button that takes them away from the site.

I'd like something that ultimately looks like the order form on the bottom of Lee McIntyre's page here: https://www.getmoremomentum.com/freeworkshop/order/ or at the bottom of this page: https://instantclickfusion.com/bodyevolution/

Is that possible with 1ShoppingCart.com?

Many thanks everyone,
Marc Milburn

I'm pretty sure you just have one option for how it will look at any given time.

I use it for several sites, but since they are a related, and I use the same company name, it works out ok.

Just wish it wasn't so pokey at times. Can't find anything else out there that has all the options I need such as recurring orders.

Thanks Lambert.. that's a real shame. It would be great if perhaps it had different profiles or something for different website styles.

I know of one guy on the forum, Dave Hamilton (I know him offline too) specializes in 1shopping cart. He would certainly know the answer.

Dave really knows his stuff when it comes to setting up 1 shopping cart - he set up mine and has also done some great stuff with my website(s). I think his Warrior forum name is Dave830 (I could be wrong). I know you can find him if you do a Google search for either Dave Hamilton or Web Marketing Magician.

There are many nuances with online shopping carts that can take a while to figure out. Good luck.

Thanks for your advice guys... in playing around with it I have sussed out a solution.

Although the shopping cart itself has to look identical, you can assign a header graphic and HTML content for the top and bottom of each product so that's all I need it to do.

          :-)

Ahhh, that's good to know. They have been adding a lot of features this past year, so I haven't investigated all of them .
