Can anyone recommend where to get some good video release forms? I.e., if you are going to hire someone to be as a part of a video, what forms/etc do I need to basically say `I` own the video content/etc?

Thanks!

You need a legal binding contract ... You are best to pay someone to type a contract up for you .. Like a lawyer where you live. I would not use form "templates" for what you are talking about.

Ok, thanks... well, I\'d like a template to get an `idea` of what I`m looking at, but maybe contacting a lawyer would be a good idea as well. Do you know of any sample contracts I can look at?

    Thanks!

Really, it is a good idea to always get a release form signed for anything you might plan on distributing or showing outside of private use.

Even if you are sure right now that you plan on keeping a project for home viewing or private viewing in general, who's to say you might change your mind 5 or 10 years down the road? it saves time to get releases done now, rather than having to track everyone down years later.
