2 questions about aweber

Hi,

Question #1: Do your unsubscribes count towards your totals that you are billed for? Every one of my unsubs in aweber is still there since day 1.

Question #2: Is there a work around to merge lists? I've got about 4 different lists that I want to merge into one, but officially you can't do that. Other than asking people to opt in again, is there any workaround to merge these lists?

Thanks

    Yes, they Do!

None that I know of. However, you can send a broadcast to all the people on these 4 lists by simply using the "include" option and then each one of these will get only 1 email even if they exist on multiple lists.

Counting unsubscribers? Then it's better to get rid of them
somehow. I'm heading to my account to see what I can do about
      that.

Yeah . . . I was thinking the same thing. If you figure out how to do it please post it here!

Also as far as the multiple lists go . . . It's no problem for me to do the one click to send the mail to other lists but it just makes my control panel look . . . cluttered.

To get rid of "Unsubscribes", you need to talk to their customer support. Just open a new ticket and submit your request for the same. It'll be done in no time.

You can do it this way but there are certain advantages of using the "include" function rather than mailing each list separately. For example, by using the "include", you can then use the advanced functions of aweber to re-mail only to those individuals that haven't opened your first message. That way, you won't have people complaining about getting the same email twice and to others, it will appear as "New message" (even though you have sent the same one earlier).

And ofcourse, your control panel will look less . . . cluttered.

Good tips I figured they count the unsubscribers to go figure. I think the price goes up from $19 to $29 once you reach 500 subscribers so on and so forth.
