Is there any cost effective way to create iPhone apps?

INTERNET MARKETING

I've thought up a couple amazing iPhone app ideas recently which I think would do amazingly well from various marketing standpoints...but I have no idea how much they cost to outsource etc.

Has anyone attempted to have an iPhone app created (whether from freelance, elancer, etc.) or on their own?

How much time, and resources, would the average person be looking at to go from start to finish?

Hey Dexx,

I have not had any apps developed myself.

However, if you Google "develop iphone apps" you will get a list of companies that do just that.

Contact a few of them and they should be able to give you an idea of cost.

  Cheapest way to do this is do it your self :p.
  
  Try elance, odesk etc, I am sure they will have some people there. Or, get involved in app forums.
