My Traffic Died Up
My site doesn't have a specific topic that it focuses on. This site is more of a personal blog, where I post articles on anything I feel like writing about. But I have made 8 dollars through an affiliate advertisment.
But the main thing is I just want readers. I synchronized this blog with my facebook notes so I started off getting traffic there. Then google organic traffic began to come in, and eventually surpassed the facebook and referal traffic.
But then that began to dry. The most intense amount of traffic came when I wrote the most. The month of november I wrote 29 articles for the site. December I have written I think 9 posts. I see a correlation between the amount of content I write and the amount of traffic I recieve. It seems that 9 articles won't fetch me any traffic, but 29 brings me in a decent amount.
I do plan on writing, as this is what I made the website for, but I don't want to have to write 29 articles before I see traffic. I am also wondering if a new website will usually start off stronger, then die off after a bit?
From what I have learned though is that content is key to getting traffic. If I want to make an affiliate site, I need to have lots of good content on it. But How can I make this content more effective so I need less of it to achieve the same results as a lot of it?
