Buying WSO Premade blogs

Hello,

I have been looking at a few different WSO's that fall into two categories:

1) having someone custom make a blog for me - most of these wsos include adsense setup, possible amazon store, maybe PLR offer, opt-in list

2) buying a pre-made blog where the warrior offering has premade one and is selling 20, 25, 30...... copies of it and then not offering it anymore.

The reason that I am looking at these options is that I am not too good at building blogs and therefore looking to outsource this FOR NOW. I am able to do good keyword research (I think) and then I buy my own domain, have my own hosting acct at Dreamhost and want to build/have blogs built for monetization purposes.

Option 1 usually costs between $69 and $179 depending on how much work they put into it and what it includes.

Option 2 usually costs between $15 and $50, again, depending on what they include with the package.

I know option 1 will in most cases provide me with a better website/blog, but to keep costs down I have been leaning more towards option 2.

So I guess my question is......what sort of things should I 'watch out for' on Option 2 WSO's and what things would any of you recommend I do/ask for when I decide to purchase a WSO that falls under the 2nd option.

Thanks so much for reading this, I know its kind of long, sorry.

Michael

I'm not sure what exactly you could "watch out for" for Option #2. It's pretty much what you see is what you get. They are reasonably priced, get you up and running fast and like most PLR products, you can expand and grow from that point and end up with a dynamite blog. It will end up being as good as you make it from that point.

    Hi Michael

It depends on 2 things here. Your budget and traffic.

If you can afford, then go ahead with option 1. And since you can do keyword research well, I assume you are targeting traffic from the search engines through SEO. With good keyword research, you can definitely target the keywords that you want and are able to rank for easily.

    So if you rely on getting traffic from the search engines;
The question is, what if after the blog is being created and been indexed but still not ranking even though the keyword isn't that difficult to rank for? Lots of WSOs promise tons of stuff but only delivers so much, you know what I mean..

This is where your budget really comes to play. This is when you are required to spend some money to get your blog to rank. To get your site to rank, you need backlinks and this requires money as you may need to outsource this part, get software, submit articles, etc...

These are the things that you should consider, all the 'What If's.

My personal preference: Go for Option 1 since it has a much more 'handsoff' approach and you can put your focus on other things at the same time.

    Hope this helps.
