I believe people are selling sites on Warrior, but it looks like turnkey sites not real sites to me.

Forums.DigitalPoint.Com is a good place to sell a low-medium priced site. I've sold and purchased sites there before.

Flippa.Com is a good place to sell a medium-high priced site.

If it is a high price >$100k, consider selling it as a business via an agent. There is businessesforsale.com as well.

You could spill the beans as to what it is here. I may consider buying it myself

    Kim,

It depends on a number of factors where you should sell your site. Maybe you want a quick sale either because its not making enough or any monthly revenue the maybe DP or WF as above.

If you want the best possible price for a site that has a high monthly revenue then Flippa might be your best bet.

Yes I would say flippa.com too
But if I were you I would look for forums in the industry and offer your website to the members there

    good luck!

    Hi Kim,

Not knowing the details, I would say that either here in the "Sites For Sale" WSO section or Flippa would be your best bet. I believe there are serious buyers in both places.

    Hi Kim
I am a member of Erics Tips and he has been selling off some of his sites on e-bay. I think he has some up at the moment in the business section. Go have a look and see how he is doing it?

    Thanks for the input guys

Had a couple of pm's asking me which site I'm selling, it's www.easysellerpro.com Due to personal reasons I haven't done anything with this site at all for several months and it's a shame for it to go to waste so I'm going to sell it including the rights to the script etc

    Kim,

I assume the source code for the script is included? Domain, etc.?

    Thanks,

    John

      Hi John

Yes of course, except for using the cart myself, I'd give up all rights to it. It's why I'm not sure how to price it up.

Reasons why I'm selling it, After I came back from vacation at the beginning of Nov my sister died very suddenly then the beginning of Dec I had to go into hospital and have some major surgery. Add to that the fact I was offline over the summer taking a break you can see it's been sadly neglected.

I was going to hang on to this site but since Kerry (my sister) died I seem to have lost the enthusiasm for it. It needs some TLC and I'm not in the mindset where I can give it

Sites with solid historic revenue sell well on Flippa. If you can provide proof of revenue and traffic you should be able to generate significant in your site.

Either visit various forums, or go to sedo.com and sell it.
Sedo is better as you can get everyone to notice it

    Kim,

I'd contact Justin Brooke from Site Flip Academy. He's a groundbreaker in the site flipping business. I'm sure he'd point you in the right direction or even possibly broker it for you. If anything, his advice would keep you from getting ripped off. Just Google his name.

Good luck and so sorry for your loss.

Thanks for posting this Kim I been trying to sell a couple if sites for a while now myself with little luck.

I even offered a couple of people a % of the sale if they could sell them and still no luck. I will keep my eye on this thread for more ideas.

I also want to sell a site that I have had for almost a year now. The site ranks very high. Its number 1 on Yahoo out of 15 million and its number 2 on Google out of almost 17 million completing sites. The problem is that its not making much money right now. However, I would think that the Domain name would be worth something with that high of ranking. Does anyone have any ideas for me to figure out what the domain name would be worth?

I notice a lot of people saying Flippa is a great place to sell sites. But can you just sell a site that easily? I mean, doesn't a site need to be making some kind of income and attracting a fair number of people before just selling it outright? I know people who make a business of site flipping. Some claim "Make a site, get a few visitors then flip it! You can flip like 2-3 a week or more!"
Why would anybody buy a crummy site?
