Where Do I find RELIABLE SEO Experts???

I am going through a lot of SEO courses including Stompernet's STSE 2.0 and although it is purported to be simple, I am getting overwhelmed and want to outsource the complicated areas.

There seem to be differing schools of thought on SEO leading me to think that "I HAVE TO GET THIS RIGHT THE FIRST TIME". Personally, I am putting my trust in stompernet

My question is, "Where do I go to outsource Reliable SEO experts?". Someone who will fix the site structure, html etc .

Essentially, since I am following the STSE 2.0 course, I would like someone who is familiar and capable of completing the task accordingly.

any advice appreciated.

Thanks.

I don't envy your position at all. SEO people are like real estate agents and MLM people. They're everywhere.

I would offer my assistance to you but I'm not schooled in the Stompernet course.

My best advice would be to post the job on a freelance site and specify that you want it done according to those specifications.

    Best of luck

I think alot of SEO people specialize in different areas, i do SEO work locally but will not touch source code on a clients site other then some basic stuff, i have a local web guy do that for me. I tell him what i want and he does it. My main skills are link building and content creation. I would recommend that you ask anyone you are thinking of hiring what areas they are good at and what areas they lack.

You're in the right place, most of use here know a lot about seo. Browse around and send some PMs to guys that claim to be seo experts and are williing to do freelance work, i guarantee you after a day or so of the thread being read by warriors you will get a few PMs.

    Otherwise do what i do:

    Go to: elance.com

    search for seo freelancers

make a list if their names, business names, address and any other contact details and then google them and contact them direct, or simply take their services from elance, personally i dont like doing it via third parties but others may see it as a benefit because its safer.

SEO is a lot simpler then most people think.

Before you do anything, make sure you have a good idea of the types of phrases/keywords people use when searching for your product, service or info. Then pick a good domain thats suitable, make sure all your titles are in order with the keywords, make sure you link all your pages together like a chain, looping back to the first, create a site map, make sure your content is relevant and then get some back links.

Exactly - that is pretty much all you need to know. No need to pay for an expert. I would also say:

Do set the keywords and description meta tags. Design the description to be catchy and enticing when it is listed in Google.

Don't worry about pagerank, just get good backlinks from reputable sources. Pagerank is a very rough guide to how well respected a page is by google. Remember there is no such thing as a PR5 site. There is such a thing as a PR5 page.

I found SBI (Site Build It, AKA SiteSell) a very useful guide. You can read their guide for free without purchasing their hosting and it will give you a good feel for how to do keyword research.

I am not familiar with Stompernet SEO school but I agree with Andrei that
SEO is much simpler than it can seem to be.

SEO services are unproportionaly expensive and that's why I do my
websites' optimization myself. I learned it from scratch by reading some
good ebooks and taking notes from this forum. Now I am capable to rank
#2 or #3 for extremely competitive keywords with half a million competing
      sites.

My point is: if I could do it, you can do it too. Take some time to
systemize and simplify what you have learned, create your own
SEO checklist, and build your sites according to that checklist.

You can at least do on-page SEO yourself, and then outsourse link
building to people in this forum, there are very good offers in the wso
      section.

SEO is the critical part that you must understand, otherwise there
is a big risk that you are going to be cheated by idiots who pretend
      to be SEO experts.

      Just my two cents.

I think STSE 2.0 is one of the best, but it isn't really a beginners course like you said.

One of the best, easiest to understand, and most complete is by Pat Marcello called Spider Language.

She actually learned from StomperNet, but has an unbelievable knack for telling you exactly how to do these SEO things without overwhelming technical jargon.

    Have a great day

    Hi Phil,

    What's your niche?

First I would suggest learning enough about the subject to be able to hire someone effectively and know for yourself whether they are doing the job right.

A good way to make SEO easier to comprehend is to break it into two parts. The first part is the "on-site" and you can get a good lowdown on this for free from a) Google and b) Brad Callen's 7-day email course:
    http://www.google.com/webmasters/doc...rter-guide.pdf
    http://www.seoelite.com

The second part is the link building and the best strategy for this varies depending on your target site(s). The best quick advice I can give on link building is that the whole task is made easier by creating high value free content specifically for the purpose of funneling traffic. Linking to high quality content is much easier than linking to a sales page - and if you are giving away something of true value, people are much less likely to be offended by link building and it makes the whole game more fluid: You create some good links and the content attracts further links of its own accord. It's got to be good though.

Hope that helps in some way,
    Alex.

Yes, that helps immensely. You are so right, about me needing to know more about the topic myself before I go hiring.

You, yourself, can be an SEO expert in a matter of a few days simply by reading the free articles available on SEO (white-hat) around the internet, and in the War Room. I never understood people who paid to get SEO work done, when they could have invested that money into traffic development themselves with their own knowledge of SEO.

I agree. I would spend a little time experimenting and building up confidence.

      1. Buy a keyword rich domain, I prefer an EMD (Exact Match Domain).

      2. Assuming you already have a hosting account with Fantastico (I like Hostgator), set up a Word Press blog.

      3. Install SEO All in One Plug In and Sitemap Plug In.

      3. Use SEO Firefox 4 for keyword research.

      4. Write a new article every day centered on that specific keyword.

      5. Backlink each article via social bookmarking sites (I like Propeller,MIXX,Mister Wong, etc..). Another good way to backlink is to go to your competing sites and reverse engineer.

Rinse and repeat for about 2 - 4 weeks and Wa La you are an SEO Expert ...

Of course, there is more to it but the aforementioned will get you rolling - good luck!

    Hello:

Learn some about SEO yourself and then you will know what to do.

Some of the best people don't post on forums (not that there is anything wrong with this or any other forum).

    Here are some starting points:

bruceclay.com - Internet Marketing: Search Engine Optimization SEO Services, PPC, SMO, Design and Tools

Internet Marketing for the New Generation

PM me and I will tell you about a good friend of mine that knows more than I forgot about SEO. He may or may not be willing to coach you (he is not cheap or available alot), but he will give you some direction.

The people that I am telling you about are not going to tell you about methods that rely on billions of backlinks. Although they do it, they do not rely on it and routinely outrank sites that are organized with 100X the backlinks.

So if you are looking to do something fast and earn fast money, this is NOT going to be your thing. One of the posters recommended Site Build It. They use the same philosophy as the people that I am telling you about. If you don't know much about Internet Marketing, you can try their methodology and see if you can learn from it. People really experience success with them.

If you would like to learn some SEO (lite) in the next 30 days, try the Thirty Day Challenge, it is free and will give you a crash course on how to do some SEO and then monetize. Again, recommended...

I know some, but not enough to coach you at this time.

    Charles
