What's Your Internet Marketing Resolution For 2010?

It's funny how different Internet marketers specialize in different areas. For me, it's always been search engine optimization.

In 2009 I spent the majority of my time learning social media. My resolution for 2010 (I've already started this) is to start building a mailing list.

I've been in this business for 12 years and never once have I done any real list building. Last week I signed up with get response and have already set up a small mailing lists.

I would love to hear your New Year's resolution for your Internet marketing business or any list building tips you might want to share with me ;-)

One of my 2010 resolutions is to master driving traffic to CPA offers on a much larger scale then I've been doing. I've been inspired by the likes of Jeremy Kelsall, Steve Iser, Amit Mehta, and the PPC Coach (to name a few). They all have their own unique ways of making it work and it's reminded me that there's always more than one way to skin a cat (or whatever animal you want to insert in that saying).

My second resolution is to get out to at least two marketing seminars this year. I miss meeting other marketers and other Warriors in person. Besides, it's another excuse for me to drink while I learn and network! I thoroughly enjoy staying up late into the night over my beverage, talking about trends, demographics, effective landing pages, advertising placement, paid traffic, the latest SEO and SEM strategies, setting up potential strategic alliances, and learning from others.

To start branding my name, I figure if I can get a good name because of good products and information, I will be able to sell more.

That and I want to get a few good JV's going.

So far I have only come up with 3 months of my resoloution ...

        14 days - make a sale

1 month - Make a sale per week

3 months - make 4 sales per day

After that, when I get these goals, scale on up.

I've only been in the IM game for a little less than a year, spending most of 2009 learning without much earning. 2010 is time to turn knowledge into dollars, with a focus on CPA marketing strategies.

Building lists is a major part of my IM resolutions for 2010 too. I've taken some time off during the last couple of weeks and I can't believe some of the mistakes I have been making. I've literally been leaving money on the table at every turn. As I said in another similar thread a few days ago, I am also going to make sure to get a lot more from the content I write. Writing an article, submitting it to my site and/or a couple of directories isn't enough any more - I'm going to spread my content around a LOT more. I have the tools to do it, so there's no reason not to.

    Hi,

    Strange question.

Anyway my resolution is set at 1024 X 768. I see no reason to change it.

Check out the book "Speak & Grow Rich", just do a search for it on Amazon. It's a fantastic book on how to get started as a speaker.

Mines is to actually "work". I really want to make just enough money IMing so I can stop working full time for somebody and have a fun exciting part time job. I have proven methods but I just need to work harder at it. Only $800 more a month to fulfill this dream.
