amazon marketing tips? (for your own products)

hi,

i recently put my ebooks on kindle store on amazon...
do you guys know of how to sell MORE of your own ebooks on amazon kindle store?

there are ways to market your website (through article marketing, video, etc)
but what are effective ways to market your products on amazon?

    Getting people to write positive reviews of them on amazon helps, also a very successful strategy is to offer free bonuses on your website to buy the book or ebook from amazon on a very restricted time limit, usually within one day so as to help boost your product's sales rating on amazon thus getting more people to take notice and buy your product.

    I put some of my books on Amazon (personal ones I'd bought) on the 13th Dec not thinking I'd do that well, within 24 hours I'd sold 15, Sold nearly 40 so far. Not making a lot of money as such on them, but I'm clearing the clutter.

    I think one of the biggest secrets to selling well on Amazon is dealing in a subject that is in demand. (I'm into paranormal romance which is obviously very popular)

    I'm going to have a scour round a few of the charity shops and see what I can pick up cheap in this genre

    Books I'm selling are obviously not ebooks, I missed the part in the OP where he said they were ebooks, (my bad)

      Getting others to create lists with your products included for free bonuses as incentives is another very powerful method for getting more exposure.

      Basically the list would contain books on your books topic. This would drive up your credibility as well.
