Google Adwords Under Review For 3 Days Now =(

Is anyone else having problems with their adword ads? I'm just starting out and the one add that I have is still under review. Is there anyway to speed up the process. At this rate, testing and tracking is going to take an eternity.

Start working on that organic traffic.

Honestly, go to msn and yahoo (there are coupons for money on these too) and go sign up for advertising accounts with them while you are waiting.

I got impatient trying to get a facebook ad approved and ended up just deleting it, creating a duplicate and it was approved in minutes. I think sometimes things just get lost in the system.

Are the ads running though? I've had periods of time where my ads weren't approved for a while but they were still running at full force.

      Hey Chris,

It's really totally normal. Not only they are banning accounts, all new accounts will be put under human review.

Go to their support area and keep sending emails til they reply. That should help because this is what I did.

      Regards,
      Darren

In my experience, some aggressively worded ads will will get flagged and result in the long review process you're describing.

I recommend you delete the ad and rewrite it slightly to see if that does the trick. Usually works for me.

Google is under tremendous pressure of customers support right now... They are massively changing their ad policies and are reviewing several accounts, banning a lot and suspending a lot more.

3 days is OK... Give them a call if you want faster action.

Make sure your landing pages are in pristine order. I had a campaign I had paused over 4 months ago and the landing pages were no longer redirecting users to proper thank you pages. They suspended my account for that... imagine. Thankfully the suspension was lifted in a week after I deleted that campaign and called them a couple of times.

Someone told me they are taking nearly a week to review new accounts these days, though this isn't confirmed.

P.s. Bottom line... The barrier to entry in Adwords is going to be so high that moderate performers will no longer exist... And that includes companies with million dollar budgets. Its all going to be gold and I am looking forward to it...

It will be fine. This happened to me as well in late November. It took 3 days to approve several of my campaigns but they were eventually approved. These were mini sites with Amazon affiliate ads. They really weren't very good or super content based but they still got approved and I got a 10/10 for quality score.

My adwords account was put in review sometime last night, I sent them an email from their diagnostic tool and got an autoreply that my account was in review. What's weird is I've been running this same account for a year now and spent 6 figures with them on it, then all the sudden they yank it. Gotta love google, can they not review an account while it's running? Yes I agree, seo is the way to go but adwords works great when you first start out and need immediate sells to fund the seo.
