Hello,

If I'm selling a digital product and some affiliates are promoting
my product. Can I consider the buyers, who came directly to my salesletter page and bought my product, as my subscribers to my
opt-in list (They didn't opt-in through my squeeze page) ?

And, can I promote to them later on ?

Thanks a lot, appreciate your help
Aiman

    Hi,

If you add them to your autoresponder, they will get sent an email which will then allow them to opt in or not.

It gives them the choice and keeps you safe from libel!

    Best wishes,

Personally I would only promote to them after they have opted into the mail list.

The other thing you could do is send them a polite note asking them to sign up. I did this recently with a campaign that i forgot to collect optins on and most signed up to the list.

You could integrate sign up into the sales process somehow.

Don't send them any emails before they sign up to your list,
and make sure they are double-optin subscribers. It shouldn't
be hard to get buyers to subscribe for 'updates' and 'additional
information'. Just put an optin form on your thankyou page and
      give them something for free.

    Hi,

I use a sales processing script that integrates the AR process with the sales flow, use single optin with the follow up being a 'thank you for your purchase'. The thought, and many do this, is that if they bought, you have already established a relationship with them.

Haven't had any problems yet and the unsubscribe link is there if they want to unsubscribe.

    Just my thoughts.

    Thanks,

    John
