I am going to play around with ebay this year and wondered what software you use to find powersellers and hot products as well as manage your auctions.

thanks

  • To find products and powersellers, I just spend hours looking through the search results in each category, and using Ebay Pulse (Although, I dont really like that service.)

For automation, I used to use Auctiva, but I think you have to pay for it now.

Hammertap and Terapeak are 2 that come to mind.

I use Auctiva now. And, it does cost about 10 dollars a month. It is a little slow sometimes, but they do have some great templates and if you use more than a couple of pictures in your listing, Auctiva can save you money on the image hosting.

If all you want to do is setup a few listings, Ebay has their own system for that and it is easier to use than it used to be.

Everyone has their own preferences, but the most important thing is to build a great reputation and use plenty of description and images. Just establish what your rules are going to be, state them up front and adhere to your own rules and those of Ebay.
