How would you monetize...

I am thinking of starting up a little side project for my self, something which I can work on a few hours a day. Its going to be a forum and this forum will be aimed at 14-18 year olds but I am trying to think of ways to monetize it. I know you may need to know the niche to tell me how to monetize it but it isn't that crowded since no IM'er is doing it, the competition have just put up a forum and got their naturally. So instead of specific monetization methods, how would you go about monetizing a forum for people age 14-18 in general.

    I'm not 100% positive, but you may be setting yourself up for a lot of refunds because of kids using mom or dads credit card to buy whatever you're using to monetize without actually having permission to do so.

      I don't think that would be a problem but could possibly be. I would of thought that 14-18 understand to ask before buying . What about free type of things though, like cpa? Do they need you peoples oppinions.

    Well... If you're saying nobody is doing it, then the only thing you can do away of doing some researches, is actually to try it out. A big part of Internet Marketing is based on trials.
    If you decided to give it a try, then never give up and always remember:

      Yeah I understand that but before you go into any niche you should know how to monetize it. I understand how to monetize most niches except the young people based niche since it isn't there money, it would be there parents money, well the majority would be their parents.

    There are some cpa company that has gaming offers like free Xbox, free Nitendo Wii and you know those 14-18 years old are crazy about gaming.
