Using Market Samuari...what settings do you use to....

All those numbers seem like mumbo jumbo to me....can anyone help me out on what settings to use to find good niche keywords and what they mean?

    Have you try their online tutorial Videos they are pretty good. Also the thirty day challenge training is excellent and they walk you through the entire process.

    I'll second what Aduer recommends. I've only watched a few of the videos, but they're pretty good. 30DC uses Market Samurai a lot, and it's a great way for newbies to get up to speed of a few IM basics.

      The best tweak I've used is changing the broad match to exact match. That seems to be pretty accurate in giving me the number of visitors I can expect with first page rankings.

        It depends what you're trying to achieve ie create a sniper type site or an authority site or something in the middle of these.What's achievable is dependent on competition and is determined by how much effort you want to put in and for how long. The 30 day challenge is excellent and is a great insight to market samurai.

          I strongly recommend you go through all their videos. I personally focus on setting my search criteria to specific traffic levels for a given niche to find the best keywords with the lease competing pages and toggle between phrase match and exact match a lot. For a long time their adwords number calculations were a tad flaky, but they have gotten better recently. I do use them for determining commercial viability.
