How do I find advertisers for my 1000 uniques/day site? I don't want to earn cents with programs like adsense, I want to charge a monthly fee to a few advertisers (e.g., $30/month and a maximum of 15 advertisers)

    Go to similar sites in the niche and look for banners... First contact the site that the banners are on and find out what they are charging -- its usually $X CPM... Then contact the banner owners and offer them a better deal. Even give them a month free to test the quality of your traffic.

    There is a section of the forum for swapping links, some in there are about advertising on sites, such as you want.

    But you might look at putting up CPA offers that are generic enough to fit in with what your visitors would want. You could get paid more in the long run. For ideas visit sites like yahoo.com and you will see examples.

    I know this isn't answering your specific question, but I'm really curious. Is this 1000 targeted visitors to any niche?

    If they are targeted in any way, why in the world aren't you monetizing it in other ways, which could lead to much higher returns?

    If you've already monetized the site in other ways, adding another reason for them to leave your site is just going to harm your click through rates on your other offerings.

    What is the niche the traffic is targeted to ?

    If it is the right niche ... 1000 visitors a day should make more than a few cents a day via adsense .

    $30 a month times 15 advertisers is only $450 a month any way you look at it .

    30,000 unique a month should really monetize out a lot better than that.

    a few questions for you

    1. Do you have analytics or some other stat software to tell where your visitors are from, how they got there, what words were used etc?

    2. If so, try out some aff programs in that specific area if adsense isn't working out for you

    3. If it's in the health niche like fitness/anti aging would you be willing to sell the site or let me advertise there?
