|  Trackback wordpress spam killing you?
Hey guys, been getting a lot of trackback, pingbacks comments spam to my blog lately. I do use Akismet to catch most of the spam coming to my blog it seems with older post it's very easy to use to spam for some reason I really don't know why but it is. Anyway while on my morning browsing I saw this little plugin that help deals with trackback and pingback comments spamon older post... The problem with things like Akismet etc is it does not stop spam but simply tags it which means it is still on your server till it gets deleted. A much better way to deal with spam is to simply use a plugin that puts a capture form under your comments making it very hard for robots and spammers to post.
