Going To Launch New Weight Loss Product - Advice Needed...

Hi, Me and 2 partners are going to launch new weight loss product. We have figured out our budget and we are thinking to market our product with major PPC networks and affiliate networks. We will first start with small affiliate networks which will accept our product without any FEES. we have also got necessary license to sell the product and we have done everything that required to run an online business. Just shaking head before trying payment gateway. we want reliable merchant account and payment processor also there may be other things that we may not know.

Any advice accepted...

    So what exactly is it? Because a weight loss product can be different things, like ebook/report, dvd-course, membership, pills (or some other type of edible product) or a beverage

    If I'm not mistaken I think you're taking about something that is either edible or a beverage, since you need licenses?

    If so, you could always look for a big internet-based shop and see if they want to sell your product (you could make it an exclusive for them and you could negotiate better terms for yourself and your partners)

    or you could find a few big ones whom can move a decent amount of product every month, this way you'll only need a few customers to make a decent amount of income, while doing minimal work.

      I can tell you from being in the selling diet pills biz that it is a tough room. The competition is incredible and you will find that many COSTomers are lazy. They order the bottle and later want their money back, when they don't lose the weight you promise. If you refuse to return their money, they will report you to the FTC. That is not a good thing.

      FDA has clamped down a lot on this biz. There are many products you can no longer sell. That said it is insanely profitable. You can sell a bottle that cost 50 cents to produce for 50 bucks. The demand is beyond belief as america grows in size.

      Get ready for a wild ride. It will be an adventure. Not boring, that is for sure.
