Anyone know the Best way to DRIP content?

INTERNET MARKETING

Let's assume the following:

You are signing up several clients per week for Business Consulting. Clients will be signing up at different intervals so drip content is a must. I want as much hands-off with clients as possible so I can leverage my time. Must be scalable.
Live Teleseminars will be recorded, Webinars, Camtasia videos, MP3s, etc... will be recorded for clients to review on a weekly, bi-weekly basis.
I want clients to stay on Track and NOT jump forward with their training
Assume there will be approx 50-60 recordings

If this is a Membership site what stops them from sharing Log-In info?

I don't want any type of Forum that is interactive or anything similar. Simply a place to review recordings of teleseminars, webinars, camtasia videos, download PDFs, etc...

I was going to send replays of teleseminars with a PDF but then they could forward info to other parties. Not crazy about my content being passed around.

I'm not sure of the best way to Implement this.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Many membership site scripts offer drip content. I have both simple member pro and wishlist.

IMO there's a bit more of learning curve with simple member pro but it's a very good script. Wishlist is also very good and seems to be a bit more intuitive.

With wishlist you can limit the number of daily IP logins to whatever you want to help prevent unauthorized access.

If your content is going to be downloaded there's not much you can do to stop it from being passed around. If you want to just have it in the membership area to be played there you can use easy video player to securely embedded both audio and video and have them stream from your server or from amazon. It's my new favorite program right now

1-Use flash, that will prevent them from downloading it. They can only view it.
2-Put a time restriction. They need to view it within x days and it will be gone. (Seems that EZ Lesson manager does this)

Does EZ Lesson manager use Flash and prevent downloading the content?

You can also force them to use their mother's maiden name or other sensitive info in addition to their password to access the site. That should prevent them from passing it around, no one wants to give such info to anyone other than their financial institution.

The best script for drip feeding content is Launch Formula Marketing.

It will only give them month 2's content after they've paid for it, and it has a fully protected member's area to keep all your content secure.

Also this automatically makes all your members affiliates, so if you're content is good then people can easily tell their friends and earn some cash.

Unless Mike has changed it, EZ Lesson Manager, doesn't drip feed.

When looking at a script, check it isn't giving all the information at once. Many use the WP calendar to drip feed.

Launch Formula Marketing will do exactly what you want. Each person will start with Lesson/Month 1 and each month the next course will be seen by them.

Here's another option I highly recommend:

RAP / Member Plus

Will drip content, has secure access, has recurring billing option, highly customizable, etc.

Worth a look.

AP, I recommend checking out Wishlist Member (WP plugin) for dripping content.
wishlistproducts.com/sequential-delivery-has-been-added/

The video delivery system/player that I've seen out there that does the best job of protecting content from DL (where hacking source code just won't cut it) is ooyala.com. I've seen it used more and more over the last few months for product launches, I think primarily for their view tracking - but definitely makes it a PITA for DL also.

  I have wishlist and I do not see how to set up drip.
  My client has 24 lessons for 24 weeks. Members will be joining at different times.
  How does wishlist do that? I have watched all the videos 3 times, read all the pdf's and I am stumped. I do not see it.

AP, this is what you need.

- It will drip content in the way you want. (And the way that another poster asked about)

- It will protect individual files, pages, videos, MP3s, etc.

- It will protect/cloak the download links at AmazonS3 for your videos, etc.

- It has a way to protect against login sharing.

- Links to previously "unlocked" content will appear one by one over time (based on days-since-joined), enabling easy review for the members

- it has a built-in affiliate program where everyone immediately becomes an affiliate upon sign-up

- and all sorts of other stuff!

AP, have a look at Moodle.org: open-source community-based tools for learning It's an open-source learning management system - basically E-learning. It is designed to deliver training courses using the "drip feed" method. I have used it a lot to deliver online training. It integrates well with camtasia or Captivate video content and you can even test their knowledge lol

Don't be put off by all the bells and whistles, you can pick and choose what functionality you want and it'll do exactly what you need.

Hey, craigbrown... very good suggestion! Moodle is nice.

The only downside with Moodle is that despite it not being brain-surgery, there is a bit of a learning-curve to Moodle known to mess with people's heads.

If you're an Moodle-expert, you might like to do some kind of training on how to set it up and offer it as a WSO, say. I'd buy it!

AP,

I use InstantMember for some time now and I am a happy customer.

Really easy and secure script.

I needed a script to drip content in my private coaching and after some tests (including top WP plugins etc etc) decided to use Instant Member.

Completely hands off: just set membership levels (if you need more them one), set content, dates, paypal payments (integrated of course and all big players too), and just let it be.

I really can't say enough for that script. Really hands-off.
