What Was Your Greatest IM Success of 2009(?) Share it!

In preparation for the New Year, I think it's always great to reflect on the previous year......we can learn from mistakes and successes, and drive forward....motivated to be even more successful....

I was wondering what everyone's greatest IM Success was of 2009?

Perhaps you achieved, and surpassed, several income goals you had set forth at the beginning of this year......or you made some killer affiliate sales......or created a product or two that ended up doing very well in sales....

Basque in your successes....learn from your mistakes.....and, feel free to share!

My greatest success this year was $25,000 in a couple of days from a product launch, ok, it's not that great compared to some people here, but it was a move in the right direction.

      Louise,

      That is fantastic!!! Congratulations!

I think my greatest achievement of 2009 was finally getting my act together, making my first dollar online, and releasing my first product.

It's tough when you're not doing well, but perserverence and taking action was key for me! I suspect it will be key for a lot of other people who were/are in a similar situation.

I launched three new products this year, made some great connections - one with an affiliate whose list ROCKS - and learned a ton. Business had been profitable, but I'd sort of lost my focus. This year I found renewed purpose and am hitting the ground running in 2010.

I dont want to start with the generic income statement.. but more on what i did in regards to IM..

Started on my seminar tour, published a paperback, bought my first BMW, and went on to hire 2 others to work with me..

    2009 was awesome!

@Louise Evans - I love your modesty! Really!

My biggest success was to discover the art of article marketing - I have only just started but the power is immense - and also social bookmarking. Until I joined this forum I had no idea how to do these things well and now things are starting to click into place. The idea of getting 1000 visitors a day or 1000 people on a mailing list now seems possible, even though I haven't got there yet, and going full time IM now seems more possible than ever. I just need to keep working

The weird thing is I am really starting to enjoy the things I used to hate like writing content and building backlinks. I think it is the sniff of actually this is going somewhere which I didn't have before.

Mine was completing my first product and releasing it. It was an 8-month project from beginning to end, not counting all the research and experience that came before to make it possible.

Goal for 2010 is to keep selling it and create more products!

I only made two sales this year but I guess that's an accomplishment right? I don't think I was really applying myself but 2010 will most definitely be different!

I was amazed by the difference the holiday season made for one of my niches. Sales took off about 2-3 days before Christmas, and although they've dropped off a bit, they still are far above normal.

I've been working at IM for almost exactly a year now, and making decent money at it since about May/June 2009. My income for the month of December will be more than double my best month so far. YAY!

My greatest accomplishment was to finally get my own website up. After that it would be finding this forum, there are so many great resources in here. Look out 2010, my goal would be to make enough my wife could stay at home. Then keep going so I could do this instead of my government job.

Most definitely....would love for you to share more about that (but, I understand if it's 'personal'...)...

it's nice to be reminded sometimes that there are things in life BEYOND IM....I know sometimes we get really saturated in our work, that it's easy to loose focus....these type of stories are a nice reminder...

God bless you both! I hope you don't have a need for a repeat performance in 2010. Or any other year for that matter.

My greatest accomplishment for 2009 is that I still haven't given up . . .

I'll try to come up with a better accomplishment for 2010.

The relationships I have forged in the last six months . Although you can do it alone ... it is nice to have people that you can go to for anything from advice to services and know that quality will be the end result .

Staying afloat and diversifying. I launched a few products that are doing well and I sold several domain names/websites to see if I could....that worked out well with almost $1000 in a week.

I hope to double my efforts (and profits) in 2010.

      I really didn't have a greatest success.

I run a pretty even keel business. No highs and lows...just a steady cash
flow from month to month from the products I have out there.

It's not glamorous...but it pays the bills.

I am making money through affilaite marketing and cpa marketing. But

list building in 2009 and I can already see great results.

I started my very first website this year, and it has been a total success ! I also got involved in adsense and have over tripled my adsense income in my second month of using it. Launched my first free e-book. I have learned a whole lot this year about IM .

I am in a similar situation as the lady above. I got laid off in July and it has been the best thing that has happened to me all year ! It really gave me time to focus on my website. My traffic is more than six times what it was in july . It's been a great year . Happy new year everyone !

    My biggest accomplishment in 2009:
Last December (2008) I discovered a traffic generating method that sold $30,000 in product in just 10 days and over $100,000 in product in 90 days.

Then I went to live seminars and met some top internet marketers.

My favorite one is Jeff Johnson and here is what he had to say about me at Stomper.net Live 8 (Aug 2009)

My biggest IM success was moving over 1300 eBay listings to my amazon store manually....

Wait does it count if I paid someone to do it?

In truth the success of my business blogs and me actually using social marketing to make sales.

That was a victory for me. It has been a tremendous year.

But this year is going to be even more successful!
