What's Your Marketing Goal For 2010?

Here's one of mine...

I'm launching a guitar video course in January.

My goal is to beat Jamorama for the #1 spot in the ClickBank marketplace within 6 months.

Jamorama has been at the #1 spot for too long. Gravity score: 159.

It'll be tough, but we'll see what happens.

Happy New Year!

What's your new years goal?

Jamorama is doing pretty good at clickbank. Did you notice they changed their landing page once Guitar Super Stars moved in and starting taking their sales lol.

My main goal is to make 10 dollars a day for each site that I create. I will see how well that goes.

      lol...

Yeah, they've completely reworked their pages. I'm not sure where their spokesman is anymore. The Australian guitarist? Maybe he quit or sold the business.

They've kept their same headline though.

I'm gonna make 2010 the year I become a CPA Grand Poobah. No fair stealing that title for a WSO, by the way. I own the rights, as of now. I'm gonna be using video marketing and some article marketing ninja tactics to rake it in with CPA. If I'm not making 5 figures monthly from this income stream by May or June, I'm just gonna quit IM completely. Naw, that's just crazy talk, but I'm seriously gonna be all about the CPA for the first few months of the new year.

Get my affiliate program going and try to get 1 sale a day (minimum).

I'm going to work smarter than I did last year. I could have made twice the money if I had done a few things differently.

I'm just curious, but how is it possible to unseat a Clickbank merchant with a higher gravity score and thus a higher page rank? Is it simply a matter of making MORE sales?

I'll have to beat the gravity score. PageRank has nothing to do with it.

156 gravity score could mean having 156 to 1560 affiliates making at least 1 sale within the past 30 days I believe.

They've been around for 5 years so it's going to be tough.

But the plan is to run some PPC to my sales page and promote it to my guitar list.

Tweak the page so that it's converting high... paying at least a buck a click for affiliates.

Goal #1: Hunt down affiliates of other guitar programs and get them to promote my product instead. If my product will make them more money, then they'll do it.

Goal #2: Get on the first page of results for "guitar" in ClickBank so affiliates searching the marketplace can find me.

Goal #3: Push other guitar-related ClickBank products so that they're no longer my competition, but my JV partners. I believe if I make them enough sales, they'll notice me and when I contact them after generating an avalanche of sales, they'll at least be willing to chat with me. That's when I build the relationship, then build an alliance.
