What Internet Business to Start?

I have been thinking a long time to start a internet business but ideas are already been taken. As education was a key to success last decade, what niche does this decade bring?
Care to share any ideas or possible niches/booms? thanks

You need to find a niche based on your interests for better results in long run. It is always advantageous to start with things that you know and determine profitability.

Never mind about being taken. You can still take your share.

Do not wait for a unique idea to come. Start with whatever you have.

      Hi Arun,

Thanks for the comment. For myself, Im good at all trades work (offline business) but I want to hit into the online marketing business but Im stuck which way to go. Its very hard to pick the right product/services to sell. I'll be brainstorming for this week for ideas, but i doubt it would be good ones.
      Cheers

You could try out some niches by writing some articles and submitting them to ezinearticles. Article marketing is an inexpensive way to get your feet wet, and people would read your articles. I think this is a nice way to test things before you go all out and develop entire websites around niches.

Well, sorry, you're too late. Everybody here has already staked a claim to just about everything available.

Back in 1898, it was said that the head of the Patent office filed an official report with the President where he was happy to announce that just about everything that could possibly be invented had been, so the President could look forward to the day when he could cut back on funds for managing the Patent Office.

Your post sounds just as dire -- and completely off-base.

There are 6.5 BILLION people in the world, about 1 Billion of whom can read, write, speak, and/or understand spoken English (if not more).

The great thing about the internet is that you can reach people in parts of the world who want to learn what you know, in ways that have never before existed. Estimates say there are one million people connecting to the internet for the first time every single day! They have no clue what's out there already.

Also, there are ways to document your knowledge and skills faster and easier today than has been possible in the past. Audio, video, images, slide shows, etc., in addition to written words.

You've only got the rest of your life to publish stuff online. It's not like the first thing you put out is going to have to be a hit and then you'll die.

Scientists are still struggling to prove things Einstein laid out in the 1920s. And Einstein, when looking for a solution to his General Theory of Relativity, finally found the solution in something he'd read and discarded 25 years earlier.
