Hi Everybody,
I wrote the following humorous email to cheer up an attorney friend of mine who had a hard year and I have adapted it for you all because I think we all need to smile again after this challenging year.
Dear Friend of our Enchanted World,
I hope you and your family had a pleasant and peaceful Holy Day celebration. I'm sending you these greetings of the season late, after their emotionally charged actual dates have passed and especially that of Christmas, which has now come and gone, on the advice of counsel and our liability insurance company. One can't be too careful in these politically correct and litigious times.
As Santa Claus© now calls from his sleigh while riding off into the snowy night: "I wish you whatever good wishes, either now known or that come to be known, that I am allowed to wish you by applicable local, county, state, federal and international law, with the caveat that if these wishes are found to be in conflict with existing case law or laws that come to be in effect, then whatever wishes become separated from the bulk of these wishes due to adjudication shall in no way diminish or cause to be construed as un-wished those wishes that remain in force."
