Still Making Profits from Articles Written Years Back?

Well, I have heard this many times. However, I was wondering how many of you really still earning from articles that you've written and submitted to article directories years ago.

I just found a writer with hundreds of articles targeting one niche on EZA with her resource box pointing to an irrelevant site. Hmm ... cannot figure out why? The domain was not parked but the page was on a totally different niche. The articles are not bad too...but why?

I have articles that I wrote a couple of years ago that consistently get
    over 1,000 views every month.

They are in non competitive niches and bring me regular subscribers to my
    list daily.

Depends on the niche as to how long articles last.

Some die in days...others last a long time.

    Sincerely,

A Kinder and Gentler Steven Wagenheim

Thanks Steve for the clarification! There's definitely no doubts on anything that comes from you about article marketing.

By the way.. are you getting complaints lately for your straightforwardness and probably "bold" advices?

        When have I not?

No, just decided that it's better for my blood pressure and overall health
if I just chill out and relax.

Getting into heated debates with people just isn't worth it, at least not to me...not anymore.

        Life is too short.

James, are you kidding me?
I mean, how would that be possible / how do you do that?

I ignore all those so-called experts and I build backlinks... Many say "do not build backlinks too fast or google will slap you" .. Oh Please, no they will not.. I will build several thousands backlinks in one day and not be slapped.

Other will say "post your articles to EZA and build backlinks because your site can not outrank EZA" .. Oh please another BS line.. Your site can outrank EZA just like any other site can outrank any other site.

The power is in the backlinks you build... Ignore the so-called experts and go out and test this for yourself...

I had some articles (in the wedding niche of all things) picked up and syndicated, still sending me clicks!

I have articles posted over a year ago that still makes sales.. What you should do is build backlinks to those articles to make them stick. As I posted in another thread you could use the 80/20 rule... 80% backlinks to your site and 20% to your article.

I normally build anywhere from 500 backlinks to 3 or 4 thousand backlinks per article. Depends upon the article, where it is posted, and etc.. Point is though building backlinks to your articles will make them stay longer.

My oldest one that still makes sales is back from October of 2003. :-)
