Sites solely for adsense

Here's a question about wanting to stay on the right side of the FTC.

If using a blog/site just for monetizing through Adsense, where all you are doing is posting articles, top 10 tips etc, do we still need some sort of disclaimer/ts and cs/dislosure??

We are not selling a product per say and only looking for a click so would a "this website is just for entertainment purposes. Get proper advice before acting etc etc" type peice be ok for adsense sites?

Its probably a little early to tell how far the FTC is going to push the guidelines and under what circumstances they will give you a hard time. But if you have wording in your disclaimer that you get paid if people click links on your site, that might be a good idea.

I don't put a disclaimer on my Adsense sites, but I do include a Terms page and a Privacy Policy page, as detailed by Google in an update they did about April, 2009. No sense bringing attention you might not want.
