Is Mike Filsaime Brave or Nuts? $500...

Hi

If I understand his promotion email correctly for Mass Control

"Either you like my bonus, or I pay you $500 with your refund for Mass Control."

So if you order Mass Control and don't like through his link you will be $500 up.

That's some offer - it wouldn't take to many tyre kickers to cost Mike a huge sum. I'm guessing he is banking on enough people using his link that he will do quite nicely even though you will get the idiots just doing it to claim the $500

What would happen if his offer got out and in the climate of people needing more cash just order and refund to claim the money (providing they use his link)?

Thoughts?

    1) Mike is super smart and a marketing "guru"

    2) It's a calculated risk, but he knows Mass Control is so excellent the likelihood of that is nearly nil PLUS his own bonus is super excellent I'd assume too.

      Without seeing it, I would guess that there are conditions that have to be met. But I won't know until I go read the offer.


      EDIT: There doesn't appear to be any conditions. There might be once you get into it. There's only one way to find out. Mike's a pretty smart dude.

        Mike is a shrewd enough businessman to know that he's going to make money from this. I suspect he believes in the product enough to know that most people who sign up won't take him up on the $500 thing, because they will actually like the product.

    I'm sure there are more hurdles to that $500 than meets the eye, if that is even how the offer works.

    I hate to jump on the frank kern fan boy wagon, but mass control is the only product I've bought in my career online that I've really been drop dead impressed with.

    I used it with a list of 1200 BEATEN subscribers and made over $1900 overnight on launch day, with a $97 product. I half assed it.

    I used it with my main list, in the make money niche, and over a week after launch I made $15000ish with a $97 product. If only I had charged more.

      Believe me, Mike knows exactly what he's doing. He has done so many JV's and product launches that he knows the refund rates, especially with Mass Control.

      Frank probably told him what the refund rate was on his previous launches. If the refund rate was big, Mike wouldn't do it. it's just smart business.

    Look, the honest outweigh the dishonest in this world probably 99-1.

    If that wasn't the case, the jails would be full up with us guys, while the crims busied themselves ruling the world.

    This is (I guess...not looked at FK's offer) a high ticket item...especially if it's a continuity deal.

    MF is offering a powerful resistance-breaker. It'll most likely turn a healthy profit.

    Yes, while the odd few will take him up on his 'offer', most won't.

    Great product or not, MOST people in a position to buy Mass Control are not likely to scoff over $500...especially given Frank's proven rep.

    Hell, they're going to buy it anyway, why not buy some 'insurance' on the slim chance they may need it.

    Like Steven said, believe it or not, the honest do outweigh the dishonest.

    In all seriousness, it's all about putting his money where his mouth is. This is the way a recommendation should be. Mike is giving the program his highest recommendation, saying you simply cannot like this or see value in this!

    It's a guarantee and it will work.
    What is there to lose for the buyer?

    The psychological trigger is there... "What can I lose, all I need to do is pay now" heck if I don't like it, I can get my money back plus $500 bucks."

    Mike knows what he is doing and there will be something that has to be met to get the $500. If it is straight up 500 back then the product is good and if you are just doing it for $500 then you are probably missing out on much more if you were to stick with it. Good Luck!

    Chances are, the people that need money, as in $500 probably won't have $2,000 bucks kicken around...

    I don't think it's just about honesty from the customers.

    If I'm not mistaken, Frank Kern has set this up so that a refund is most likely not going to happen. If you look at his 2 tier guarantee he even offers some sort of personal e-mail coaching if people are not satisfied, not only that but I believe that if they request a refund, they would also lose access to the mass control program, so in short, the chances of a refund are very slim.

    Mike Filsaime knows this and of course that is also one of the reasons he offers $500, he knows that the refund rate will be close to 0 and even if he has to give out a few $500, he is making a lot more out of it.
