Hi.

I am curious to know do ClickBank take on any product or do they monitor ensuring its of a reasonable quality?
I want to affliate stuff they have, would like to know the quality of the product. Is there any way of looking at it (without actually purchasing it) before deciding to go ahead with the promotion? At the moment the only thing I can do is decide based on the quality of the affliates' website.

Cheers.

J.

Clickbank does have certain products that they won't take on, such as
products on list building, YouTube, MySpace, Craigslist and others. But as
to the actual inspection of the product to determine "quality", which is
    subjective anyway, no.

Think about it. What would they know about a product on acne cures to
determine whether it was any good or not?

Best way to determine if a Clickbank product is any good to promote is to
get it yourself and review it.

You can write to the merchant to ask him for a review copy, but most likely,
if you have no reputation as a successful affiliate marketer, you won't get
    one.

Your only option then is to buy it.

That's the reality of promoting any Clickbank product unless you can find
some unbiased reviews of it (rare as snow in July).

In other words, there is always a chance you'll promote something that's
    not of good quality.

And that is just the nature of this business.

Type in Google: Clickbank refund calculator, and you will see several online services that calculate for you the percentage of refunds for Clickbank Products. For me, this is a useful tool to determine if a certain product is good or bad quality.

      Unfortunately, it's a flawed service...very flawed.

If a product sells for $47 to start and then the product creator changes
the price to $27, the refund calculator is not accurate.

If the merchant has several products selling under that one account ($47,
$27, $67, $97) the refund calculator is not accurate.

The only way it is accurate is if the merchant sells just ONE product and
the price NEVER changed from day 1.
