Hi all, I've been running a memory improvement sitefor about five years and as a spin off from this site I created a maths book. The math ebook has gotten me some 20k+ newsletter subscribers and through that I've been affiliate marketing it but with limited success. Whilst I believe the products I am marketing are relevant a % of the time the products don't sell particularly well So do any of you have any other interesting, clever and new things I can try to help monetise these resources I have Many thanks in advance warriors |

Hi Cringer, there are alot of things you can do. Number 1 start tracking every move. Do a google serach for more information on tracking. Second you can focus on the buyer you have. Are you effectively marketing on the backend? Meaning: are you upselling them and downsells, cross sell, thank you offers, etc... You will increase your profits substantially by increasing the value of each customer you already have. Example: 5 sales and 2 take you up on your 97 dollar one time offer and you upsell them on a 297 product and 1 buys that.. the other you downsell for 197 and possible they will take you up on that... You have just increased your income 10 fold... That's just for starters... hope this helps, Have a AWESOME Day on Purpose! With Purpose! Darren Utke Aka "The Real Deal" Mentor |

It might just be that your traffic source is not targeted. Also, your copywriting/sales page might just be a low converter. |

Just took a quick look, and I'm curious, are you testing any other sales pages? I'd be a little overwhelmed as a parent with the length of the page. (And yes, I do know long sales pages normally convert better, but only testing will tell.) Another approach, have you considered trying to promote your product directly to teachers, and then offer them a percentage (affiliate) for any parents who buy the book? They will know parents who have challenged students who may really need your product. |

Nice idea Kansas, maybe I should spend some time on teachers forums. The realdeal and RGallowitz thank you both also for your contributions. I've been thinking that perhaps the way I am promoting the affiliate products is the problem. I use getresponse and send out three emails per product I am marketing but the conversions of these products are terrible, yet when I look in clickbank they seem to be selling really well. Do any of you have any good resources for personal development/education related PLR or affiliate programs I can further investigate? paydotcom is ok, CJ.com hasnt really done much for me and Clickbank is ok but that's about as far as I've gone. | |

As for split testing - yes I thoroughly agree with you on that one. I have only just created that sales page and I will be split testing variants of that next week.
