Hi there, how are you all doing

Happy New Year, hope you are all well and ready for 2010

I have a little issue/query really....

I wish to setup a membership site whereby I want to upload all my content on the site BUT want my members to access each different part every month once they have paid,

member 1 joins and pays the first month, they have access to Video 1, then they only have access to video 2 after the 2nd month, and so on... this would be the same for each member that joins, similar to an autoresponder system

Can this be achieved, I am using Membership Ease

any help would be much appreciated

Kishor if you're planning to set it up as a wordpress blog -- which I recommend strongly -- then you can use the following plugin to feed your members content based on how long they've been subscribed:

Hi Kishor,

Well with member ease we are only given the option to protect the directory which they receive access to once signing up

If you wish to have access limited though it is quite simple have the videos out side of the directory and add it every month to the download or whatever folder you have in the directory

WD, you are right, Membership Ease is either protected or not, but then could I even setup different levels of access, ie, gold, silver, platinum under the members folder with different payment buttons?

Yes you can do that.
Integrate either plimus.com or e-junkie.com payment and have various recurrent payment options

Dear Kishor,

Yes it can be achieved. take the following steps:
Set up your membership site with blog. Add all the pages, password the blog pages, use autoresponder to send your members the password to the blog as you have segmented them and they have access monthly to the particular section you want them to have access to until the cycle is complete.

Hi Kishor,

Yes absolutely you can install it again and again just select a different folder name instead of the standard members folder in the intitial setup process. remember paypal ipn is unique to each one so nothig to set up there aside from the button code at paypal.

Hi WD

I managed to create separate folders for each level of membership and it works fantastically.....

I have tested accounts for each level and they work, and they only work on the level the account is created

  just one more thing, in membershipease script, is there a way that I can create a login page where the members can input their details in boxes
  
  at the moment a popup box appears when they click on the members area link to login, I wish to replace this box with a simple page with the login details
  
  I have seen this with other scripts and I was wondering if I could modify a few things to get what I am after

Hi Kishor,

The login page for the members to sign into only comes up with the pop up box. before allow entry to the site let me see if I can figure out a way to bypass that and have the login attached to the login button like you do here or with paypal etc. I will take some time and see if it is possible.
