Is there a setting in Twitter that I can turn that will tell me when someone starts following me. I noticed my followers went up today but without spending about 5 minutes trying to figure it out it's hard to tell which followers are new thanks, John |

Should be in your settings, there is an email section to turn on when a visitor follows you, it is on my settings anyways. Stevie |

John, In the menu accross the top, click on 'Settings'. Then the tab 'Notices'. Make sure the box is checked for 'New Follower Emails'. That should have you taken care of. |

I think the question is really to see if there is a way to see when someone started following not just to get an email when someone does. I don't believe that you can see when someone started following you like a report or anything. The best option is to just turn on your email alerts like mentioned above and keep an eye out for the twitter emails coming in. |

Wow, tons of great info. I was also hoping to find out how to send a message. No problem if I get an email notifying me of new followers. Thanks, John |

A couple of other things about TweetLater.com You can automatically follow the person who just followed you. You can send a message to the people who just followed you either direct or public @ The best part!!! You can schedule tweets. YES, That's right... just like Aweber, you can schedule tweets. This is great for affiliate marketing and launches. I recently set up a series of 20 or so tweets to go off at different times. I was promoting Jeff Mills streaming Super Conference offer where you can watch the seminar from your home for like $7. So I set up 2 tweets per speaker per day over the 3 days. It works! And it works well! I already have tweets in there for MONTHS... Birthdays, launch messages, etc. |
