How do you secure your downloads?

I have seen various software available to secure ebooks, downloads etc. None seem that cheap.
Anyone know of any good, reasonably priced products?

Thanks

A 2nd vote for DLGuard. What is "cheap" to you anyway? If you are selling a $20 product then you need less than 10 sales to justify any of this software. That's VERY cheap if you ask me.

Buy the best. You will always be very happy you did. If you go cheap, you'll regret wasting time and money.

Thanks - I've been thinking of DL Guard, but it seems you have to buy a seperate licence for each page you want to secure.

    Not true at all!

You can secure as many as you want. You are allowed to INSTALL the software on two domains, but you can manage ALL of your digital sales, on unlimited domains, from one installation.

I have it installed on a domain.
I use it to sell stuff on totally separate domains.

I bought it and thought I'd never need certain features, only to realize later that I was so glad to have them.

      Wow that sounds really good.

How hard is it to configure?

I have some technical knowledge so may be able to find my way around it if not too complicated.

DLGuard is very easy to use and configure, doesn't require much technical knowledge at all.

And one license is sufficient for managing digital product downloads from multiple sites.

    Completely easy to install.

    Download the program.
    Unzip it
Run the PC wizard (it logs you into your domain, uploads the stuff, etc)
Log into DLG admin panel via browser
    Begin adding products
Cut & paste "code" for buttons into your websites.
    All done.

Or, I think you can pay Sam $40 to install it. He's the owner.

I would say go for E junkie. That will cost you 5 bucks per month and it's easy if you dont want more robust solutions.

Well I purchased it, but it's not easy to install.
Granted the general install is easy, but if the loaders don't work you are stuck unless you know about Unix and php files.

I've sent 2 support requests, but nothing.

Can't see myself getting this sorted unless they log in and do it.

      Troy,

No worries, Sam's customer service is awesome. Also, join the DLGuard forum; a great number of questions can be answered in the forum.

      Good luck,
      Allan

I had a problem with ioncube loaders because my site is on Bluehost. Sam asked me to copy the php.ini into all of the DLG directories and subdirectories (well, most of them) and it worked.

Try that. Or wait for him to reply. He will.

The way I do it is my host hosts several CB sellers
and basically all the product downloads are on one common domain

That is ... my website --> ClickBank --> His website ...so
even if they look through mine, they can't find the product
because it is not there. Every few weeks he sends a new url
to update in clickbank, so effectively they expire.
